The first time I DJ’d was one day in Junior School, so I guess I was around 9 or 10 — yikes!

Music was always important to me throughout my teenage years but it wasn’t until I left school that I began my journey into the performing arts, particularly DJing.

Throughout the 1970s, ’80s and ’90s I held residencies, both in Lincolnshire and North Yorkshire clubs and bars. I even DJed in the community centres (tongue in cheek) when I lived in Saudi Arabia.

My passion for music grew. My tastes broadened, from trusty old tunes to dance, club and trance. I still have a soft spot ’80s music, but as time has gone on and music has evolved, so have my tastes.

Thanks to TopCat Radio I have been given the opportunity to continue with my love affair with music — and what is even better I can share the music with you. And that, my friends is really exciting.
