John, born in Scotland, creative from birth, his first real proud achievement at thirteen was his two-story tree house with cantilever, connected to electricity from a nearby pole. He then made his own DJ equipment and enjoyed DJing around the local community. He studied Electrical and Electronic Engineering, analog and digital electronics in Edinburgh. He has worked in the audio and hi-fi field.
He has worked with “Malcom Savage Production” in Sydney, Australia as creator for Cats, Nine network TV’s Hey hey it’s Saturday, and various Expo ’88 promotional props including the “Bicentenary Wool Collection” fashion show at the Sydney Opera House.
Back in Edinburgh he founded “Be Seated”, a reputable company specialising in bespoke furniture, upholstery and interiors. He has featured in various articles in Scotland on Sunday for furniture and interior design in Edinburgh.
He also gained a reputation for organising parties in Edinburgh, parties with flare and always a surprise element, which also featured in the national press.
Moving to Barcelona, he was involved with various flat renovations and design, in El Borne, Poble Sec and Sitges. He also collaborated with “Morcilla” art gallery, art house cinema and artistic creations production. Designer, creator and award-winning installation for “Les Festes de Gràcia” Barcelona.
Moving to Tortosa he has focused his creativity in a more ecological direction, involved in bio construction, recycled furniture and sustainable tourism “Eco Finca lo Favaret”.
Recently back to the world of music and DJing and experimenting with music production.
